Many moons (and menstrual cycles) ago, while navigating the 'poking and prodding' of my own painful periods, I was floored by an onslaught of information that felt like it should have been common knowledge. 

I realised that if I was only just learning about phases and tracking and what a ‘normal’ period was, millions of others were likely in the dark, too.

So, I did what any millennial does with an epiphany like this: I started talking about it on the internet.

What began as an outlet, became a mission to close the cavernous gap in our education and autonomy; all while acknowledging that these gaps aren’t personal failures, but systemic ones.

Today, as an advocate and educator with an online community of nearly half a million, I work as a speaker and consultant to dismantle the man-made shame surrounding menstrual health.
